 About Nicos Weg

Recently i just finished the movie titled "Nicos Weg : A1". This movie isn't like other movies. It's not too heavy nor too light. This movie is just enough for teenagers like us who needs to improve their speaking or listening in Deutsch. Alright, lets moveon to the synopsis of this movie.

Basically, this movie shows a story about a man from Spain named Nico who came to German to find his aunt. But unfortunately, he loose his bag while he plays along with unknown girl. However, because of that incident he met a woman named Lisa and her niece named Emma. On his journey to find 'Die Tasche', Nico met many kind people who willing to help him out and teach him about deutsch. As time goes by, Nico's secret about why he came to German is slowly opening. It's because of his parents. Nico forced by his parents to study and doing what his parents want. However in the other side, Nico still doesnt know what he wants for life so he ran away and come to German to find his aunt, Yara. 

From this movie i gained some knowledge about German's culture. Let me tell you what their culture like. First, Germans always asking about each other's condition and they often use skinship to express their gratitude or affection. Second, Germans always introduce themselves first while calling someone. Third, Germans often held a party (Such as farewell party in the movie). Even a little kid likes to stayed at their friend's house to celebrate a birthday or just a sleepover. Just like Emma and her friend. Fourth, kids in German had their own schedule and many courses. And the last one, deliveryman who send a package or foods are given a money tip from the buyer.

This movie is just right for people who want to study about Deutsch. Because in here, you can study about daily conversation,greetings,how to talk about time,jobs,country,vegetables names, and much more. In this movie the producers and writers want to tell us if we want to study about Deutsch, the tips are you must often hear daily conversation,try to speak in Deutsch,read new vocabulary, and repeat all of those for sure. 

However there are something that doesnt make sense if you analyzed more further. First, i cant believe if there's a stranger who lost their bag and someone just let them stay in their house. Second, where did you find a person who can talk in a new language just in 2 days? But these are not critics. Because once again, it's just a movie. 

What i like about this movie is there are many moral values. First, helping each other with their self awareness. It shows when many people want to help Nico though he isnt Germans or someone they know for a long time. Also how Nico and Max run until they almost ran of breath to just give Lisa's document for her job interview. Second, it's from conversation between Nico,Max, and Tarek. That conversation tells me if you can work and doing what you like for life at the same time, no need to stress about one thing if you can get two things at the same time. Last but not least, this moral value shows on conversation between Salma and Lisa. They tell me if no matter how far you go and no matter how long you stay in one place, nothing can beat your own homeland. It means you can feel happy when you go on holiday and being annoyed in your own country but if you have left your homeland for a long time, the deep part of your heart cant lie. You will miss your homeland.
