ENGLISH TASK : STORY TELLING


TELAGA WARNA ( Colorful Lake)

The king of a famous kingdom in Cipanas, West Java, is very wise man. He has a beautiful daughter. The king and queen love their daughter so much.But all their love is not enough for the princess. Even though they give her everything, she is not happy. All the jewelries that they have are not enough for her.
The princess then has an idea. She plans to put all the jewelries that they have in every single hair in her head. She wants to be the most beautiful girl in the world. So the princess goes to see her mother and father and tell them about her plan. "I'm sure father would say no to my plans" said the princess. The king is surprised to hear about his daughter plan. He tries to convince her that her plan is not good .

"My Daughter, the beauty of a princess is not measured by her clothes or by the jewelry she is wearing, but by her attitude. It's not that we don't love you, but what will people think if you go through with your plan?" said the king.
The princess is shocked to hear that. So she runs to her room to get her jewelry box. Then she returns to her parents.
She screams: "You are so miserly. Here, I am returning the every single jewelry you ever gave me."
She threw her jewelry box to her father. The wise king cant believe what his daughter did. "You are ungrateful daughter!"
Suddenly, the floor of the palace erupts and water pours out from the crack. In a matter of second the palace is flooded, drowning the ungrateful princess and her jewelry. The palace then replace by a lake.
The lake always reflects multiple colors to its surrounding. Some say the colors come from the princess's jewelry. Now, The lake is known as Telaga Warna that means colorful lake.

ENGLISH TASK : MY HOLIDAY

MY HOLIDAY The school holiday was started on December,21st of 2019. My family and i were planning to go to Mecca for umroh. And we went there for 9 days from December,23rd of 2019. We took a flight directly to Medina for 10 hours .We stayed in there for about 3 days. In Medina we went to many historical places like Quba Mosque, Jabal Uhud, Kurma Garden,Rasul's bestfriend houses, Raudhoh, and shopping in mall near Nabawi Mosque. After spending 3 days in Medina, we went to Mecca for do our umroh. But before, we went to Bir Ali first to take miqot. Then we went to Mecca by bus for 6 hours. As arriving in Mecca, we went to our hotel and got ready to prepare ourselves to do umroh. Umroh is consisted of Tawaf and Sa'i. First we did tawaf which is going circling the Holy Kaba for 7 times then we moved to Safa Marwah hills and going back and forth for 7 times too. As we finished our umroh procedure, we did tahalul (cutting hair as a symbol) and muhasabah.
